Now you can show your personal appreciation and honor for the family of a fallen soldier, one of America's Fallen Heroes in a very real and meaningful way.   I wish I could express to you how much that means to these families.  As much as they appreciate the quilts, having the personal tribute from you makes the quilt ever so much more valuable to them and gives them comfort.

How many times have we all thought how blessed we are that there are patriotic young men and women willing to put their lives on the line for for the way of life we enjoy, and even take for granted.  Wouldn't you like to be able to say "thank you, I honor your sacrifice" or a similar tribute personally to one of those families?  Well, now you can.

Your message will be added to one of the patches in the center of the quilt.  These patches are sized 7" x 2" and make up the frames around the pictures of each quilt.  Your message will consist of two lines and will include your name as well as your town and/or a message of your choosing (subject to editorial control) and will act as a constant and meaningful reminder to the family of just how much America honors their sacrifice.  

Then, once we begin stitching the quilt, we will send you some information on the soldier whose quilt your tribute appears on.

Note: Your tribute donations are tax deductible in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. However, if you specify a particular Fallen Hero quilt for your message, then the IRS has ruled that the portion of that donation that is allocated to the actual cost of the embroidery is a donation toward the family and not the foundation and is therefore not tax deductible.
